Ever since I've read this I find myself asking myself if I'm out of my comfort zone when I'm doing a hill repeat, hard effort swim or other hard interval and start to "feel" it. I figure that if I have the time to consider whether I'm out of my comfort zone - I'm probably in it.

Mike P.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35474566.post-21823170170014216562008-03-05T13:41:00.000-05:002008-03-05T13:41:00.000-05:00not sure about that last sentence!!!!not sure about that last sentence!!!!triguyjthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05843158282600595243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35474566.post-82482794688465409542008-03-03T13:35:00.000-05:002008-03-03T13:35:00.000-05:00I agree Rob. If they want to share, then that's up to them, but some of them are so tedious covering every little detail. I enjoy the more off beat ones.Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11483140817712812487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35474566.post-33661762287905455012008-03-02T07:52:00.000-05:002008-03-02T07:52:00.000-05:00Another one:Not everyone in the world wants to hea...Another one:

Not everyone in the world wants to hear exactly how you felt during every moment of a race. It's self indulgent and boring.

The race is over, go have some fun and forget about triathlon for a few days.

Rob StrazAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35474566.post-2159405389306207172008-02-26T18:45:00.000-05:002008-02-26T18:45:00.000-05:00Eric, it depends for you. Hell, I can send you out next week to swim 2.4, bike 112, and run 26.2 and you can do it. It may not be that fast this time of the year but you now know based on LP that you can conquer the distance. For you now, stepping outside your comfort zone would be setting a more specific goal there. Feel free to contact me to discuss this further any time.Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11483140817712812487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35474566.post-91933016115291842322008-02-26T16:12:00.000-05:002008-02-26T16:12:00.000-05:00"Many of us try to convince ourselves that we are ..."Many of us try to convince ourselves that we are stepping outside our comfort zones when we know we truly are playing it safe."

I've been thinking about this one lately. This year's IM MOO I'll be stepping outside the comfort zone....at least I hope to.

May need to talk to you about that.Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15903883660163304283noreply@blogger.com
